Discussion Times of Doubt

Everyone has struggled with times of doubt. It is part of being human and why God has given us the gift of faith.

Moses, a man of great conviction and desire to follow God, was not above or out of reach of human errors and doubts. As we continue to read through these sections of scripture in Exodus, we read about the vulnerability, frustration, and confusion Moses faced through his experience of following God’s prompting and call!

Story Episode

Exodus 5:23-6:30

Lesson

Times of Doubt is real for Moses and for us!

Questions

  1. Have you ever had a dream, or calling that you believe is from God?
  2. Have you ever had an experience or felt as though God had led you into a scenario that was WAY out of your comfort zone or ability?
  3. God’s interaction with Moses seems gentle and encouraging. How would you like to be encouraged by God this week?

Growth Tip

The growth tip for today is to check-in with God. How is your relationship? Are you feeling full spiritually? Are you growing? Or are you full of doubts like moses?

Any answer is fine, But we must know! And I think it’s so important that I actually want to leave it there for this week. And we will continue on this path of growth next week. So write down your answers, or focus on them, spend some time in prayer!

Prayer Requests

At the end of your discussion, go around the group and ask for prayer requests.
