Discussion | Be Faithful

Jon: You are listening to the discussion episode for the story, “Be Faithful.”

Noah: Nehemiah returned after visiting Babylon and saw that the people had stopped doing important things. They were connecting with people who worshipped other Gods and used the temple for the wrong purpose.

Val: Nehemiah rebuked people and made changes that were necessary so that the nation would be faithful to God!

Story Episode
Nehemiah 13

Questions

  1. Noah: Tell a time when you wandered away from God and stopped doing the right things or connecting with good people and instead started doing some bad things or connecting with bad people.
  2. Jon: Growing in a relationship with God is more about having a soft and receptive heart to God than doing everything perfectly. Describe the state of your heart to each other.
  3. Val: What are one or two things that may be bad for your heart? How can you change things to make them better for your heart?

Growth Tip

Jon: Our growth tip is simply this. Tell a friend about one change that will help you grow in a relationship with Jesus.

Noah: It could be something you stop doing or a new habit that you start doing.

Val: The important thing is that you tell a friend and you are able to encourage and challenge one another in your faith.

Prayer Requests

At the end of your discussion, go around the group and ask for prayer requests.
