Discussion | The Light Has Come

Bradon: A short recap of the story and then onto the questions! Jon take it away.

Jon: Jesus and a man named Nicodemus are having a discussion, specifically about being born and reborn. Jesus then goes on to share the importance of physical and spiritual birth. And that through Him, people are made new, reborn and will live in eternity with Him—pretty big stuff.

Story Episode

John 2:23  – 3:21

Questions

  1. Bradon: What is one Big question you would like to ask God?
  2. Jesus challenges Nicodemus, and the knowledge he has of the scripture. How have you felt challenged by today’s episode?
  3. How can you be the light in someone else’s week?

Growth Tip

Bradon: Well. I had a lot of fun writing this episode. I did some really long pondering about it. Which you know I love. You also know, I love to lay on the ground while pondering, specifically the really big questions.

My challenge or growth tip for this week is to ask God one BIG question.

Jon: That is Awesome! Maybe you want to be like Bradon and lay on the floor while wondering these things, or on a deck while watching the stars or the clouds.

Bradon: just let yourself ask. Think of the possibilities and give God space to answer!

Prayer Requests

At the end of your discussion, go around the group and ask for prayer requests.
