Discussion | Build Yourself on God
Bradon: You are listening to the discussion questions for the episode Build yourself on God.
Jon: We learned that Nehemiah wanted to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem to their former glory to help unify the people under God. And to lift Jeruselum to its former glory while refocusing on honouring God, which was no small task. As Nehemiah began, there were a lot of questions. The chapter ends with many people from all over the place joining in the effort to build the wall!

Questions
- Bradon: What are some areas you wish to rebuild in your life? These could be friendships? Goals? Characteristics?
- Jon: What would life lived in the glory of God look like for you?
- Bradon: What do you need prayer for?
Growth Tip
Bradon: A growth tip is a way that we hope will inspire and help you to grow in your relationship with God this week.
Jon: Like any good building plan or foundation, there must be a blueprint for growth. If we don’t have at least an idea of how we would like to grow or the type of person we would like to grow into, it is hard to recognize the growth when it happens.
Bradon: I agree! So make a blueprint. Or a plan, or just dream of the type of growth you would like to experience in your relationship with God!
Jon: It doesn’t have to be perfect and can change over time!
Bradon: But having a plan is a great place to start!
Prayer Requests
At the end of your discussion, go around the group and ask for prayer requests.
