Discussion | Gratitude in God’s Provision

Bradon: Welcome to the discussion episode for Gratitude in God’s provision. Let’s have a quick recap of our lesson for today.

Jon: Well Bradon, you shared about Matthew 6:33 and how that verse helped you in seeking God through Gratitude and how we can find ways to be grateful or things to be grateful for in the provision of God. We do not always understand the world or the will of God but we can be sure that God works things out for Good.

Story Episode
Matthew 6:33

Questions

  1. Would you say that you are a grateful person? What are some things that you are currently grateful for?
  2. Have you had a time in your life when it felt hard to give thanks?
  3. What encourages you to be more thankful? Is it someone that reminds you or perhaps a journal? What sparks gratitude in your life?

Growth Tip

Bradon: Today as we talk and think about Gratitude we are going to make a gratitude list and put it somewhere where we see it first thing in the morning.

Jon: starting your day off being thankful for the things God has provided is such a good way to wake up!

Bradon: So make a list, stick it to a mirror, or a window, or your ceiling, or your pet’s face! Whatever you see first thing in the morning

Jon: Okay, Leave the Dogs out of this! Great growth tip to encourage gratitude in God’s provision.

Prayer Requests

At the end of your discussion, go around the group and ask for prayer requests.
