Discussion | Practice God-Like Character
Jon: You are listening to the discussion questions for the episode Practice God-like character.
Bradon: Nehemiah is frustrated by the injustice he sees. Many people are starving and in slavery because of the greed and corruption in the town. He speaks boldly and tells his audience to set things right. To return the land to the rightful owner and to give food to those who are hungry. He does this all because he sees this generosity and character from God.

Questions
- Bradon: what is one characteristic of God you wish you had more of?
- Jon: What is one characteristic you have that you wish you could have less of or act less on? Keeping in mind, not all characteristics we have are for our good.
- Bradon: Where do you see injustice in the world – people being treated with little or no respect or dignity?
Growth Tip
Bradon: Plant a plant – a literal growth tip!
Jon: Very funny; what is your actual growth tip
Bradon: No, I am serious, plant something, watch it grow, water it, nurture it and care for it! Take note of all the work that goes into it and how long it takes to get bigger or flower.
Jon: then what?
Bradon: well, think about yourself – imagine where you were a week ago, a month ago, two years ago and remember all the growth it took to get to where you are today. Be thankful for all the ways God has helped you grow! Just reflect and be glad.
Jon: I Like it! Planting something and watching it grow.
