Discussion | Trust God, Even in Our Faults
Noah: you are listening to the discussion questions for the episode trust God, even in our faults.
Bradon: We read about Saul stepping into leadership for the first time and leading his people to victory over the Ammonites and saving the Jabesh people. Saul is finally given the kingship and the end of the chapter! And all the people of Israel celebrated him.
- Noah: Name one thing God has asked of you that you have been nervous to step into?
- Bradon: How can we learn to trust God more? Can you think of any other bible characters that have had a hard time trusting Him?
- Noah: How does trusting God allow us to grow closer to Him?
Bradon: Growth tip time! Noah this is my absolute favorite part of the podcast!
Noah: Me too! We get to practice this stuff each week! I always appreciate the growth tip! Really makes the lesson approachable!
Bradon: okay any ideas for the growth tip this week?
Noah: well… I think it should be something to do with trust…
Bradon: okay, maybe it is a simple prayer for trust
Noah: we each have something we are having trouble trusting God with
Bradon: so perhaps we ask God each day for 7 days to help us trust Him in whatever that situation is!
Noah: I like that! Prayer is always really powerful, don’t be afraid to invite others into it as well if you feel comfortable to do so!
At the end of your discussion, go around the group and ask for prayer requests.
