Ep 214 | New Year Tips
We often break New Year’s resolutions. Today, Jon gives a few tips from scripture to do instead of New Year’s resolutions.
Scripture
John 14:14
“Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!”
John 6:9
“There’s a young boy here with five barley loaves and two fish. But what good is that with this huge crowd.”
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
“Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.”
Questions
- What do you have to give?
- What will you ask for?
- What could you do to connect more regularly with the people who are good for you in your faith journey?
Prayer Requests
At the end of your discussion, go around the group and ask for prayer requests.
