Promote the Message About Jesus

Key Point

So today, we will learn that we ought to promote the message about Jesus.

Last week, we ended the story with Saul and Barnabas set apart to do something for God. Today we are going to learn about what that was! So Today’s story is found in Acts of the Apostles 13:4-52

About the Story

Now there is a lot to cover in this story, and rather than give you a bunch of background information, I would encourage you to listen to the last few episodes about Saul. I will say that the Holy Spirit led the church in Antioch to set Saul and Barnabas apart for what God describes as a “special work.” We are going to learn more about these two men and why they were set apart.

Memorable line from application

Application

Today, we saw that Bar-Jesus and then later some Jews from Antioch of Pisidia worked against Paul and Barnabas, who shared the message about Jesus.

Instead, we want to be people who promote the message about Jesus so that everyone can have a growing relationship with Him. This message is good news for everyone, and we should be doing everything we possibly can to promote it!

We’ve got some challenging questions in our discussion episode that will allow us to go a  little deeper with this! So be sure to check that out.
