161 Your Attitude Matters
Jon: Bradon, you need to have an attitude of gratitude and change that baditude into a gladitude.
Bradon: If you make one more rhyme, I will turn off your mic.
Jon: Sounds like you have a saditude and need a raditude.
Bradon: Today, we will hear an example of the perfect attitude. It’s neither of ours.

Philippians 2
About the Story
Jon: Last week, we looked at our obsessions and compared them to three of Paul’s obsessions, which all centred around Christ.
Bradon: Paul wanted to see people share the Good news; he desired to be with God and wanted others to live as citizens of heaven!
Jon: Paul continues this idea of being a citizen of heaven. Another way he says it is to belong to God.
Application
Jon: Paul’s main point is that our attitude should be like Christ’s.
Bradon: There is no time for selfishness. There is no reason ever to put each other down. We can’t just simply be focused solely on ourselves.
Jon: Paul talks about humility and taking an interest in others. Your attitude matters.
Bradon: It does. If your attitude is like Christ’s, it not only benefits you and others but reflects God’s goodness to everyone around you.
Jon: Maybe you have heard this saying; I think it’s true. The highest form of flattery is imitation. Be imitators of Christ!
Bradon: That starts and ends with our attitude. As a follower of Jesus, your attitude matters!
