Bradon: Hey, if you are a teenager, you know the challenge of being known as a Christian.
Jon: You would think with God that he would make it easy for us.
Bradon: Following Christ can be hard, but today’s episode has some good news.

Jon: We are continuing our series through Philippians, and today we are in Chapter 2 and looking at verses 12-30.
Application
Jon: Paul’s encouragement and challenge to the readers was for them to show the results of their salvation. Bradon, talk to the student struggling with the question of why. Why is it important to please God? Why should that matter to me?
Bradon: So, practically speaking, people make bad decisions every day. If you live in a way that shows the world that you are a follower of Christ it will help you avoid a lot of hardships caused by bad decisions and enjoy the benefits of good choices. But that is only a small part of it! Remember, we talked about being a citizen of heaven. This earth is not our home we don’t belong here, and God created us to belong with him, so we live to please God because we love him!
