Discussion | Share Jesus’ Story

Jon: You are listening to the discussion questions for the episode, “Share Jesus’ Story.”

Bradon: Today we learned that the disciples had their own plans for Jesus and right before Jesus left he reminded them of his plans for the disciples. He wanted them to share his story with everyone. Oh, and Jesus was taken up in the clouds and will one day return the same way he left!

Story Episode
Acts 1:1-11

Questions

  1. What reminds you of heaven?
  2. What is something that Jesus has done for you?
  3. Imagine a friend comes up to you and asks so tell me about Jesus. What would you say?

Growth Tip

Jon: Today we learned that Jesus will return the same way he left in the clouds.

Bradon: Revelation 1:7 talks about Jesus return saying, ‘Look! He comes with the clouds of heaven. And everyone will see him— even those who pierced him. And all the nations of the world will mourn for him. Yes! Amen!’

Jon: There is a lot about heaven, hell and the afterlife written in scripture and we will talk about this more but our growth tip today is this. Lie down in your backyard or a park and look up at the clouds.

Bradon: Once you are comfortable talk with God about whatever is on your mind. Looking at the clouds will hopefully remind you that Jesus will one day return with the clouds.

Prayer Requests

At the end of your discussion, go around the group and ask for prayer requests.
