Bradon: We followed the many moves that the Ark of the Covenant had after the Israelites were defeated and it was taken by the Philistines. The Philistines suffered horrible tumors in all the cities the Ark would be taken. They suffered much disease and death with the Ark in their nation. So much so they returned it to the Israelites after seven months.
Bradon: Coming up on the bible Story Podcast, we will be talking about why it is so essential to Honour God!
Jon: Not only for your own sake but for those around you! When we honour God with our lives, good things come about.
Bradon: When we dishonour God with our lives, bad things come about.
Jon: It’s not rocket science, but it does mean some hard choices!

Bradon: We learned of the Priest Eli and his family not honouring God in their work or lives. God warned Eli through a prophet and then promised the downfall of his family as Priests through Samuel. We learned that it is super essential for us all to Honor God!
If we hold to the idea of there is no foundation like God imagine the type of confidence we would have. There is no rock like our God.
Bradon: You ever hear the expression “New year, new me?”
Jon: Yeah! I hear that a lot, especially around this time of year!
Bradon: Well, this year, I am going by “New year, Same old me.”
Jon: It doesn’t have the same ring, but I am sure we will find out more in our next episode!

Jon: We learned about Hannah, who was Samuel’s mother. Her inability to have children and her desperation in that! She eventually did have a child, Samuel, who will grow up to be a prophet. In an act of worship and thankfulness to the Lord for His provision, she offers the child back to God.
Today we will be talkin gabout how God is one and how God is three. This is what is called the Trinity and it’s a bit of a crazy concept.
Bradon: Hey Jon, Imagine if there were three of you and three of me. How much fun would that be!
Jon: I think all of our introverted friends would be overwhelmed with all of us! That’s too much, Bradon and Jon. One of each is perfect.

Bradon: We read the story of John baptizing Jesus. Within this story there is God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit. We see that they were all perfectly unified in their interaction with each other. We learned about each individual of the Trinity and how we reflect on Him as a triune God. In short, God is one; God is three.
Bradon: Why was the little boy so cold?
Jon: Um, I have no idea.
Bradon: Because it was Decembrrrrrr.
