Jon: You are listening to the discussion guide for the story Jesus has overcome.
Bradon: Jesus was having a long discussion with his disciples and reminded them that he would no longer be with them but then would reappear. He was kind of vague and somewhat dark in his words since he knew he was going to be unjustly killed. He encouraged the disciples by telling them that even though they would experience hardship and difficulty that he (Jesus) has overcome the world.

Jon: You are listening to the discussion episode for the episode titled, “Things We Cannot See”.
Bradon: We looked at Hebrews 11 which describes many people who were considered to be great men and women of faith. We looked specifically at Samson and we realized that his life was far from perfect yet because of his faith in God people remember him as a good man full of faith. The lesson is from Hebrews 11:1, “Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.”
